The Gaze of a Black Woman

Wigs have always been a way to not only protect the hair of a black woman but help express herself in ways that she feels safe. A blonde wig was chosen as a method to showcase that this color looks just as beautiful on black skin, but to also demonstrate confidence and power in the body language, and in a color that is dominated by Europeans.
